SCHEDULE “A” – JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Purpose of the Post:

The main purpose of the post is to teach babies and toddlers water confidence and water safety following the Water Babies specific lesson plans, outcomes, course structure and content.

Responsibilities:

1. To be responsible for specific customers in set classes each week and to provide them with a high quality of swimming tuition and consistency in teaching in line with the Water Babies standards.
2. To communicate clearly with customers in a professional and friendly manner
3. To be assertive and confident in safety procedures and processes at each pool
4. To communicate effectively with the lifeguard, meet and greeter, pool operator and the office to deliver key messages and maintain professionalism
5. To be responsible providing weekly feedback on each class
6. To assist with meet and greets where required
7. To be responsible for maintaining kit and products
8. To provide cover for other classes throughout the franchise area where needed.
9. To actively identify areas for improvement
10. To attend any training sessions or professional CPD’s required to maintain qualification and to further improve teaching knowledge.
11. Maintain order and up to date records in relation to all relevant documentation and administration procedures such as attendance and pool logs.
12. To work independently and manage all aspects of the pool session including report any incidents, accidents or near misses in line with Water Babies policies and procedures.
13. To have knowledge of the pools operating procedures, risk assessment and complete visual risk assessment of pools attended and report back to the office if changes are to be made.
14. Undertake such other duties commensurate with the grade of the post as may be reasonably required.

2. Continue to develop swimming knowledge to further improve teaching standards.
3. To communicate with the office any concerns with clients to ensure client satisfaction is at Water Babies standard.
