What skills will my child learn?
Learners will unlock new challenges as they start to refine their core aquatic skills, swimming strokes, and water safety milestones.
Now your little one is really showing off their strength. They’ll learn to push off from the wall on their front and back, working on that important streamlining. They will also gain confidence to swim without carer support or using any floats, and we’ll develop more stamina so they’re able to swim longer distances.
They’ll learn how to swim down to the pool floor and pick up an object, and how to sit and dive into the water independently with their arms up like a rocket ship. We’ll teach them how to perform a somersault in the water, that long-term could become a fancy tumble-turn!
Through Echo school, we’ll work on their language skills and encourage them to discuss their favourite activities. And now, in addition to being taught to save themselves, but they’ll also be taught to demonstrate how to help a friend in danger and find a lifeguard to help.
Not only will they be super little swimmers, but they will have learned lots of skills to prepare them for school and their confidence will be boundless graduating Water Babies as the newest members of the Swimvincibles.

How our lessons work
Supportive lessons
Taught in a friendly group atmosphere, one carer per child and one of our teachers in the pool in each lesson.
30 minutes long
Lessons take place each week, so it’s a wonderful way to bond with your baby away from the craziness of life.

Age 0-1
Baby Swimming
From your very first lesson, little ones will start to build a strong foundation in swimming – supporting their key developmental milestones and promoting movement, confidence, and safety.
Age 1-2
Early Toddler Swimming
Toddlers will embark on an immersive swimming journey, building confidence through play, activities, and imaginative challenges as they develop their swimming skills.
Age 2-3
Toddler Swimming
Children aged 2-3 build strength and independence in swimming, growing their water confidence to perfect their core aquatic skills and swimming strokes.
Age 3-4
Early years swimming
Children aged 3-4 refine their swimming techniques, build endurance, and gain confidence in the water as they progress to independent swimming at their own pace.
Age 4+
Preschool Swimming
Children aged 4+ will swim strong and swim safe as they start to be more independent and adventurous, collecting Water Babies Treasures to become Swimvincible in the water!
