Meet Arianna
Hey there! I am Arianna Pecchia and I am a Water Babies Teacher, Tutor and Mentor for Water Babies Canada and Water Babies Toronto. I have been a teacher for 3 years now! I love swimming and helping children, so when I saw some videos of what being a Water Babies teacher looked like, I thought it was amazing and dove in! And now I’ve progressed to helping train new teachers!
What’s your favourite part about teaching?
I love seeing the little ones progress and grow. It’s the best part of the job.
What’s your most memorable moment as a Water Babies teacher?
When one of my swimmers had been going through the wobbles and he finally overcame them. He wanted to try to kick on a noodle by himself. His mom and I were so proud of him.

How our lessons work
Supportive lessons
Taught in a friendly group atmosphere, one carer per child and one of our teachers in the pool in each lesson.
30 minutes long
Lessons take place each week, so it’s a wonderful way to bond with your baby away from the craziness of life.
Have fun!
Skills are taught through song, play and repetition, so there’s never a dull moment when you’re in the pool.

Our teachers will tailor each lesson to your little one’s ability, so it’s only when they’re ready, we’re ready.
What we’ll teach you
Our program helps your little one develop essential swimming skills, confidence, and water safety from day one. We’ll teach you to teach your baby to swim.
